Dr. B. says
It can be tough to turn off the mind at night, especially after hearing and reading bad news. Reading is the best thing to do before bed, but sometimes our eyes can be tired, particularly if we’ve been looking at computers or devices most of the day. Podcasts are a great way to give your brain something to focus on at bedtime that doesn’t involve staring into the blue light from a screen.
Remember, it’s best to listen to a podcast outside of the bed and then get into bed when you’re sleepy so you don’t teach your brain that bed is for listening to podcasts, not even boring ones, instead of sleeping. Who knows? You may even learn something new to ask Alexa about the next day.
