Do I need a new sleep study to get Whole You™ Sleep Appliance?
A new sleep study is not required if you have a copy of a valid sleep study (one completed within the last 3 years). With proof of your valid sleep study, you can receive a prescription for Oral Appliance Therapy. Our licensed sleep professional partner will analyze your sleep study and write a prescription, if you are a candidate for Oral Appliance Therapy, at $95 upon virtual consultation.
What is a valid sleep study?
A valid sleep study is one completed within the last 3 years, which has been signed by a board certified sleep specialist. A valid sleep study is required for both a prescription of Oral Appliance Therapy and the reimbursement of your Oral Appliance Therapy from your medical insurance plan. If you don’t have a valid sleep study, one of our licensed sleep specialist partners can provide a new sleep study for $250 of cash pay, if not covered by insurance.
What should I do if I don’t have a copy of the sleep study?
First, you can try to contact the sleep center or the doctor who performed your sleep study and ask them for a copy. If you are not able to collect the copy, then one of our licensed sleep specialist partners can help you get a new sleep study (home sleep test) through a virtual consultation.
Is an oral appliance prescription guaranteed after I sign up?
Dental devices like Whole You™ Sleep Appliance are usually prescribed for a patient with mild and moderate obstructive sleep apnea and also for a patient with severe obstructive sleep apnea if CPAP has been tried and not tolerated or if the patient refuses CPAP. Our licensed sleep specialists will make sure there are no medical reasons to avoid a dental device as the treatment option. If this is the case, they may also suggest some alternatives for you.

How much does Whole You™ Sleep Appliance cost?
Our devices are sold to dentists only and we are not able to disclose device cost as each dentist will charge your overall treatment cost and our device is a part of the total treatment cost. Further, your treatment cost varies depending on your medical insurance plan. How much does a sleep study / prescription cost?
In order to get a new sleep study, you first need to get a prescription to conduct the study. One of our licensed sleep specialists partners can offer an initial 30-minute virtual consultation for $95. If a home sleep test is recommended during your consultation, the test will be shipped directly to your home for $250 of cash pay (if not covered by insurance), for a total cost of $345. This $345 includes analysis of your sleep study and a prescription for Oral Appliance Therapy.

Rest assured Whole You™ Sleep Appliance can be used with dentures for the sleep apnea treatment.
