What is a “digital denture”? What’s the difference between a digital denture and a conventional denture?

A digital denture is a denture designed with computer technology. Digital dentures are also known as CAD/CAM dentures.
Digital dentures such as Nexteeth are made using computer technology, which allows for an accurate fit and easy replacements in case of loss or damage. In the case of conventional dentures, the denture must be remade from scratch, which means more dentist visits and more time in the dentist’s chair.

Gently rub with fingers while rinsing under running water. Use a soft bristled brush for hard-to-reach areas. Perform these steps after eating, before storing (at night) and before using (in the morning). Also, regular use of a denture cleanser is recommended at least once a week.

For hard-to-remove residue:

Effervescent Soak + Brush + Rinse

Follow instructions for effervescent (“fizzy”) cleansing product. After soaking, brush with soft bristled denture brush and rinse with water.

Attention: Do not use hard, abrasive brushes or metal utensils

Please see detailed cleaning and care instructions here.

How should I store Nexteeth?

Keep denture wet when not in mouth. Store or soak denture in fresh water in a clean container/case.

Attention: Do not soak or store in mouthwash

Please see detailed instructions here.

How long can I wear Nexteeth before it needs to be replaced?

It depends on each individual, but just like other dentures in general it's better to replace them every 5-10 years, since dentures naturally wear down over time.

The first thing you should do is contact the dentist that provided your Nexteeth.
Since there are digital back up files of your denture, your dentist can quickly create a new Nexteeth that fits like your previous one. There is no need to take impressions of your mouth again.

What would happen if I need to replace my Nexteeth urgently?

In case of an emergency, we recommend to first contact your dentist. Once your dentist has assessed the situation, they will contact us directly and we will provide assistance as necessary.
